Photography has always been a passion of mine and began as a hobby to capture the fragile moments of life that will never again be. Too often in life, we let the precious moments pass us by. It is my goal to capture those moments and cherish them forever; I believe a photograph isn’t simply a picture, but rather a story to be told without the need of words to be spoken.

It was at my son’s BMX race several years ago I was getting ready to capture such moments, when I was approached by some friends asking if I would mind taking pictures of their kids who were racing as well. After delivering the photos I had taken to my friends, word of my work quickly spread around and soon I had several parents wanting to buy photos of their children.

A year later, my son decided he wanted to start racing motocross. Again capturing the special moments of his accomplishments, I began receiving requests to take photographs from others, and next thing I knew, I became the official photographer at one of the local motocross tracks. One thing lead to another, and I began receiving requests to cover both local and out of state events, which resulted in my work being nationally published on many occasions.

Needless to say it wasn’t long after, photography was more than just a hobby, and with the moral support of my family and friends; I began my own business. Today, I license images for all manner of commercial and editorial use. Although I specialize in Special Occasions & Events, Commercial Products & Corporate Events, as well as and Sporting/Team Events my work includes subjects ranging from Family/Children/Pet Portraits, to Landscapes and more.

“A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective.” – Irving Penn
